The Northwave Extreme Plus road cycling shoes are designed for cyclists with a focus on power transfer and a lightweight construction. The shoes are made to transfer every watt of power directly to the pedals. The combination of a stiff sole and a supportive fit ensures an efficient ride.
Sole and structure
The Extreme Plus road bike shoe features a PowerShape Carbon 15 sole made entirely of carbon. This sole has been developed to transfer 100% of the cyclist’s power to the pedals. The PowerShape system supports the arch of the foot and adapts to the foot’s anatomy. The PU skeleton of the upper wraps the foot for enhanced power transfer.
Additional features and finish
The shoe is fitted with a dual SLW3 fastening system that allows for micro-adjustments across two zones. This compact system lets you make simple adjustments for the best personalised fit. The underlap construction of the upper ensures an even fit without pressure points. Furthermore, the shoe has laser-cut perforations that optimise ventilation and thermoregulation for your feet. The shoe comes with two insoles of different thicknesses for your preferred fit.
